As the internet saying goes:

Dead dove, do not eat.

Firest

Forest with some desolate buildings Creatures inhabiting it are "overly anthropomorphised" animals.

Species are random parents don't affect species

As animals mature their animalistic traits go into extreme overdrive. Does their intelligence drop over time or is it set at birth?

Standard heroes journey predestined randomised narrative.

Culture of music?

Broken families because impossible to care for the elderly and they're useful cattle. The elders of a family are the farmstock.

Believe they should die sooner because killing an elder animal is hard and dangerous. Not before intelligence drops because that would deprive the family of valuable materials.

Name tactics. Fey trickery?

That's cute, there's an Expanding Earth conspiracy... perfect for a character to be the earth itself.

The baseline

I think that to make this a bit "grounded", to butcher any sense out of that word, I'll make the characters be born with the attributes of a healthy productive animal of that type and then grow from there.

Of course most of these are very approximate and the sources are questionable at best, but it's just for funsies.

+-------------+-------------+---------------+ | Animal | Body Aspect | Magnification | +=============+=============+===============+ | Sheep | Hair | 2cm/d | +-------------+-------------+---------------+ | Chicken | Eggs | 0.87/d | +-------------+-------------+---------------+ | Silkmoth | Silk | 900m of silk | +-------------+-------------+---------------+ | Horse | Muscle | 3x own weight | +-------------+-------------+---------------+ | Pig | Fat | 317kg | +-------------+-------------+---------------+ | Bees | Honey / Wax | 5kg/d | +-------------+-------------+---------------+ | Cow | Udders | 28.58kg/d | +-------------+-------------+---------------+

What if a sheep's production happened on a human head?

You can buy a 2x6ft sheep pelt, a sheep can produce about 0.164cm/d on its body. Which means 1828 cm³/d are produced.

My hair-producing scalp is about 30x30cm, which would concentrate that growth to 2cm/d on a human head.

Honey production in humans

Bees can produce about 0.007g of honey per day and weighs 113mg. That would be a magnification of 707,965. So we'd produce about 5kg of honey a day.

Cows

If a full udder can weigh up to 50lbs on a 500kg creature. Then on a human that'd be a conversion rate to humans of let's say 0.16, and that'd still leave 3.62kg of breast mass. The scary part is this can happen, considering this is supposed to be a fantasy world of humans used partly to display the horribly distorted bodies of some animals and humans exist and live very uncomfortably at this size is unsettling in itself.

Story #01

Soon I will perish, as did every one of my ancestors. Before long my flesh shall become mountainous gurgling essence of nature, fit for the dying mind that I may still then own. Soon might the rivers flow with my milk and blood, as did they with my mother's origin. Soup and sanity as the essence of I. Shall drain as soup from every orifice in my body, to serve the people that may come after me. If I were a frog, my thighs would become mountains for trees to sprout and younglings to explore, to get lost, to crush their bodies, to wail in the night and steal every dream. As a sheep my meat would feed nations and my wool would dry up oceans, and bake alive all those that I fed so that they may feed their own as did I. As a cow may I not just blot out the sun but flood the canyons with bountiful milk, gurgling violently as the earth shatters. May at my last days a foolish son of the lands of mine, see fit to end what rests of my body and rest the ends of my mind.
